Meetings are located at the Wood County Historical Center and Museum from 10 AM - 2 PM. Bring a sack lunch, wheel and items for show and tell or sale.
             

      Gatherings will be Saturday afternoons from 1-4 PM and locations change monthly. Check your monthly newsletter if locations are not listed below.

Jan12 Meeting, hostess Margie W  Program Katherine Clark, make it and take it securing  beads as embellishments to  wool felt.

 

Feb 9 Meeting Margaret B Hostess, Program  Make it and take it with Janice Ryan  Discovering  other options for embellishing wool.  Prep for Learn to spin. All wool should be at the museum and in individual bags marked with tags.

 

February 20 Gathering at Coyote beads. Learning to crochet a necklace with beads. Fun and easy to do with Laurie Dembicki as out instructor.   A  fee may be required .Size one crochet hook required.

 

March 9 Meeting. Rene Schumacker hostess. Program with Margaret B.

Market day prep. Beginning knitting with beads.

 

March 6  Gathering  Janice Ryans home. Check your program books for phone and address.Bring your wheels, knitting or crocheting and felting projects to work on.

 

April 13 Meeting  Bonnie Van Meter hostess and program by Margie Westrick.

Fuzzy Rugs. Make it and take it  Rug Hooking with Janice Ryan as instructor.

April 24 Gathering Susie Smithers will teach a rigid heddle loom class at the Center township Firehouse. Contact Janice Ryan for more information.

 

May11 Meeting  Deb Yeagle Hostess and Lee Miller will present a program about Estonian spinning and knitting.  Election of officers will take place for 2010-2011 year. If there is time. Janice Ryan will present a spinning lesson from the new book the guild purchased for the library about spinning thick or thin. Free fiber samples to try.
